I drive 55 miles one way to work and the light comes on around 3/4 of the way there. So, yes they come on if you drive about 40-45 miles. The light is off every time I start the car and doesn't come on again until I have driven about 40 miles. I want to switch the TPS to my wheels, but haven't gotten around to it.

 

Yeah the light/warning is "supposed to" come on after 30-45 minutes of driving if there are no sensors, faulty sensors, unprogrammed sensors, or low tire pressure.

 

I dont think the 03-04 have them. I know my 03.5 doesnt have TPMS at all.

 

You're right about '03.

It was standard on 2004 IIRC.
