How long did it take you to get your custom Volks?

I'm posting this on the 90th day since I ordered my custom Volks. Still no word on when they will be showing up. Just wondering how long it took the rest of you to get yours.Only vote if you placed a custom order through Volk/Mackin!! I don't care that it took you 5 days to get your used ones off the forum
Thanks!

Post the date you ordered, the date you received them, and what style you ordered.

I ordered some 19" Diamond Black GT-7's.

Got em now, 104 days after I ordered them. The weird thing though is that they were manufactured 32 days after I ordered them....Talk about extremely long ship time!

wow less than 40 days is freakin lightning fast! The date stamped on my wheels is only 38 days after I ordered them, so that means the other 70 days were spent laying around or in transit. You think they could get them out and over here faster than that.

Well... manufacturing the wheels is not really time consuming compared to shipping. When I ordered my SSRs, it took 3.5 months. Since I was in a hurry to receive these wheels, the shop urged me to pay for air shipping to cut downtime to about a month... however, the astronomical price was not worth it.

To my understanding, they can only ship out wheels in batches to fit containers. So if you order your wheels at the beginning of the batch, you are SOL until that batch is filled to meet the quota of a container, then they will ship the wheels out... SSR made my wheels within 2 weeks after payment and order confirmation. The rest was all waiting on the shipment.

Yeah that is what I figured. My wheels were made about 35 days after I ordered them. The last 99 days were all spent sitting around waiting to be shipped. Kinda crappy for wheels that cost so much ya know...
