19" TE-37 offsets to clear Brembos.

I'm looking to buy some Volk TE-37's from a guy but wanted to get an idea if his rims would clear my Brembos and if I might have any issues (rubbing, etc) if I picked them up for my 03 6MT coupe. Thanks ahead of time.

R: 19 x 9.5 +34

Thanks to the Ray's Engineering site, I was able to look up the offsets for BBK clearance. Trying them on also helped to ease my mind.

So, yes, +29 does clear the Brembo brakes... in case anyone was wondering.

would we need to roll fenders with those offsets? Seems aggressive.

I hope this is sarcastic, because those are the worse te-37 offsets for a coupe I've ever seen. Thats like sedan fitment

So much for constructive critism. If you're going to be a jerk about it, did you really need to post?

I got a deal. They clear my brakes. That's all I was considering right now.

And from what I've seen. No, it is not "like" sedan fitment.

Wasn't trying to be sarcastic, posted on the wrong thread since I was reading several pages about volk racing rims with 18+ 19+ offsets. But damn,

I bet we could fit them on a space shuttle too, with enough time and money.

I get it, some people on the forum are jerks... so it's just like the real world.

what people mean is that its your money. spend it how you choose. Some people prefer the sunken in look. Others prefer the look when the tire sits flush with the fenders.

You must prefer the sunken look.

i hope no one prefers it, shoot they come stock nicely sunken in like an rv home. hey man if you got a good deal theres no harm in that, but you have come to a forum asking recommendations on offsets, and most of us know in order to go for the look i'm sure you'd like you're gonna need to run some spacers, post pix when u gettem!

I dont mind your opinions. I think it is helpful. You're right, these offsets do put the rims towards the center of the car. I understand that. And I did do what research I could in the forums and alot of people have put down some helpful information.

I just don't appreciate when I come to ask a few questions and some guy thinks he's cool because he can rag on someone elses choice. That's all.

You said you didn't buy them yet, I see it as a favor to not only you, but to the rest of us by not putting those wheels on a coupe by telling you how bad it will look. It makes us all look bad.

haha lol... people need to chill... do what you like... but people here will recommend (in whatever way they feel is needed) what they feel is correct... and I for one would look for 9.5 F and 10.5 R w/ those wheels... w/ offsets in the low 20's....

This is a forum where there are thousands of people... it is a sample of the "real" world ... so yes... expect it to be like the real world w/ a few jerks and douches....

And if you cant handle the harsh and sometimes contrary to your opinions of others... you should not post asking for help...
