Best tires for longevity PERIOD in my experience have been the Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position II.

I currently have them on my nismo wheels in 245/35/19 and 275/35/19.

They've been on there for about 19K miles and I stil have 0.7 cm of tread left. (that's 70%)

They were discontinued for a new line that bridgestone has out sometime last summer and since then I was able to snag a set for HALF price. They were running originally around $400 per tire in the 19" sizes give or take $25-50 depending on the width.

I previously had these on my Acura CL Type-S in the 17" variety and they were great there too! Long lasting, do very well in wet weather as well as dry weather.

They're not as "sticky" as some other compounds but for what I do they work perfectly and are great all-seasons.

I ended up getting my tires from www.tires-easy.com and at the time I got my whole set of 4 for $850 or so.

That's a bargain since I spent over $850 for a pair of rear Michelin PS2s not long ago.

Anyways hope this helps.
