Endless/Zeal coilovers?
Endless/Zeal coilovers?
Anyone have any idea when these will be released for the G35 coupe? I've heard good things about them, but really don't know a whole lot about em.
My choice for my 6MT coupe is between the HKS Hypermax LS+ and possibly this Zeal suspension. What do you guys think?

Re: Endless/Zeal coilovers?
Info I've seen on my350Z.com that say's the Zeal's will sell in the $2200-$2800 range. I'd have to know why it should be picked over the Tein flex to justify the $$. I still want someone to post the spring rates for the HKS LS+, since the regular LS has poor spring rates for G35 applications. Tein will be releasing their SS coilover with will undercut the LS+ in price, should retail for $1200 and street for less then that, spring rates will be 9Kg/9Kg.
What coilover to get depends on what brand you trust. What you want out of your car after they are installed, which relates to how they are valved (comfort, aggressive street, or track) and what spring rates are used.

Re: Endless/Zeal coilovers?
go with HKS LS+ or Cusco Zero-2.. Zeal is too pricey, if you got money get them... I'm getting HKS LS+ from Gruppe-S

Re: Endless/Zeal coilovers?
spring rates for the LS+ setup are 496/440 and for the cusco zero2 is 560/392.
it's interesting how the cusco setup actually decreases the spring rate in the rear, huh?

Re: Endless/Zeal coilovers?
ZEAL is a great suspension maker. They recently proved their technology on the JGTC. You can basicaly buy the exact stuff they use on the tracks.
They are known for quality work and reliability also their overhaul prices are good from 120-140 each.
HKS is good suspension but as far as quality and performance of the coilover systems Apexi N1's are the best in japan. But the cost is unless you use the N1 for tracks only they wont last very long, just like anyother coilover set with real stiff spring rates and stiff inbound and outbound ratings.

Thanks for the spring rates on the LS+, as I feared like the LS coilover for the G35 and the Cusco's they do not use spring rates that are sensicle, at least the LS+ is not as bad as the LS or the Cusco's. Oem rates are 314/342 with motion rates of .79 front and a very low rear motion rate of .36, that is why the oem spring rate is higher in the rear. Sway bars are not designed for tuning out such a large transfer of roll stiffness, sway bars are to be used to fine tune a setup that is already properly dialed in.
HKS LS+ 496/440 +58%front +29%rear $1600-$1800?

Cusco Zero1&2 560/392 +78%front +15%rear $1300-$1600

Re: Endless/Zeal coilovers?
Buddy Club is also set to release their Z and G coilovers in the near future. I've tried, but their US distributor (AJ Racing) will not release any details untill released. What is known is they do employ the largest piston size (46mm and true for all Buddy Club systems) in the market. It will also likely be 15-way adjustable.

Great work by Gsedan35 regarding the availability of the JDM spec Tein Flex. EDFC die-hards need not settle for the hideous 12kg/mm US-spec FLEX ride or the lack luster 6kg/mm CS cushion any longer.
