People With Suspension Problems

OK ever since i got my JIC coilovers i was swarmed with PM's and emails. People asking me whats this and whats that. Whats camber whats toe. Well since im such a cool guy i decided to help some people out.

Here we go.

In this First picture we have a simple camber kit from Stillen. (This is the current set up i have on my G35 Coupe)

Now what camber is when the wheels go into a butterfly formation. Meaning the wheels are in this formation. / \.

To look at what i mean go to my imagestation album and take a look at my car. My Album

Re: People With Suspension Problems

Now to correct this you need to get a camber kit,

A camber kit should consist of 2 things.

A Camber arm and a Toe Arm.

The reason you need both is if you just get the camber arm, you will not completely get rid of all the camber. You also need the Toe arm to get the wheel looking like stock. You will have a little camber. Thats ok but too much will start to eat the inside of the tire.

Here is a picture of the Toe and Camber Arm on my car.

Number 1 is the camber arm, Number 2 is the Toe Arm

Re: People With Suspension Problems

How much are these arms? You need them for all 4 wheels correct? So you would need 2 pairs of cambers and 2 pairs of toes.

Thanks - Joey Avino

Re: People With Suspension Problems

No wrong, this is just for the rear setup. When i took it to my suspension guy he said there really wont be a camber for the front. So you only need the back. When you buy camber and/or toe arms they come in pairs.

So you will get a pair (2 arms) of each one. So a pair of Toe arms and a Pair of Camber arms.

There are alot of companies out there that sell them. Dont forget, you can also look under a 350Z. Thats what i am using from stillen. Other companies out there are JIC, Stillen, H&R etc... But honestly the only ones to go with are either Stillen of JIC.

I got them for a smashing deal because i have a resellers license so i got them much cheaper than what stillen said.

Anyother questions go ahead and let me know

Re: People With Suspension Problems

I just bought a full set up from Kinetix racing which included the front camber A-arms, the rear camber, and rear toe adjustment for less than 800.00

Re: People With Suspension Problems

thats a very good deal you got there. But i couldnt find alot of info for Kinetix so thats why i didnt go with them. I got still for a couple reasons.

1. I needed to fix my rear camber ASAP.
2. Still had a very good warranty on thier products

but dont get me wrong, what you got is an awesome deal. Its just i couldnt get alot of info on it.
