Question ??? for the Wheel Size Experts

For 04 Sedan
Enkei RPF1
Front
17 x 8.5 - offset 40 w/ 245/45ZR17
Rear
17 x 9.5 - offset 38 w/ 255/45ZR17

Does that sound possible. Like the wheels hoping maybe if I change the tire size it might work. Thanks for any help guys. Pics would be nice but I know thats asking alot.

The wheels will work pretty well. The front should fit with no issues. I prefer a +35 to +38 on a 8.5" wheel, but +40 is pretty close (2mm!) and should fit fine. The rear offset is a little low (not aggressive at all though), and you may need to roll the rear fender. You may be fine, but just be prepared to do so. This will also depend it you are lowered. Those wheels will look a lot better if you are lowered....

The tires should work for now, but you may want to change up the size when replacing. On those wheels, I would go with something like a 245/45/17 on the front, and 275/40/17 on the rear. You want to keep the tire size (diameter) as close as possible on the sedan. If you stagger, you should probably run a lower profile tire in the rear (5 less in this case).

What is the lowest off set that you can go in the rear? I'll probably run 350z suspension. From what I've read it seems like a good setup for a DD car.

On a 9.5" wheel, I would typically go with a +42, or there about. Again, your +38 will only stick out 4mm's further.

All posted in your initial post will work fine with no issues, no need to roll fenders with a 255 on a 9.5 +38. With a 1" drop you'll get the perfect small amount of neg camber to make the 255 work without a roll.
