Hankook Tires
Hankook Tires
Good morning all. I just replaced all four of my tires to HAnkook about 2 months ago from a local Nisan dealer. Since then the car drift slowly to the right when traveling. After trips back to the Nisann dealer to check it out, they said the alignment is fine. The problem still exist. So I took the car to a small tire place and did another alignment which I had to paid for. They told me the car alignment was off about 1 degree. So after the second alginment the car still drifts to the right. I'm finally fed up and took it to the Infiniti dealer and have them check it out. Everything checks out ok, the alignment is fine, the suspension is good. However the car still drifts to the right. Do you guys ever have this problem or is it just the Hankook tires. I'm thinking of taking it back to the Nissan dealer where I bought it and ask for a new set.
most surface streets crown to the right; most freeways crown to the left. try to find a flat surface and see if it persists. if it does, you've got radial pull. the only way to check is to swap the wheels and see if the car pulls to the opposite side. if you've got staggered or unidirectional tires, you have to swap accordingly.
I have unidirectional tires, maybe that's the problem? It only drifts to the right no matter what road or highway i'm on. Do you think the dealer will let me trade it in for a new set? If I continue to drive with the tires pulling to the right will that in the long run mess up my alignment and suspension?
thanks
thanks
