What size wheels fit the 2006 G-coupe?

I bought a 2006 G35 coupe 6 months ago. I have factory wheels that are 17x 7.5 in front and 17x 8 in the rear. I want to replace with chrome infiniti rims that are 17x 7.5 all a round. Will 17x 7.5 fit the rear? A tire store told me it may be a problem because of a design restriction. Does anybody know??

i believe 5x114. that usually fits alot of cars. key is finding the right offset to get the wheels to fit

Thumbs down

Boo on chrome . Yes that size will fit on your car, people have put 19 (or 20) by 11" wide on the rear, just need a fender roll with a size like that. I have 19x8.5 fr and 19x9.5 rear on my '06. Go aftermarket on wheels, make your G unique.

I wanted to stay with Infiniti, The wheels I'm looking at on the ones on the G37. I looked at the silver TSW line also, as well as BBS and O.Z. I decided that infiniti designed and tested these rims to drive at high speed. It is easy to look good, but what happens at 120-145 mph? Other rims do not fit the exact same as those designed by Nissan. However, I am open to other opinions. Thanks for the response.

i'm riding on 20x8.5f and 20x10r.. i've gone 145mph+ (in the past of course, won't do it anymore) with no problems.. but of course we shouldnt be speeding like that..

if you go aftermarket... look into tsw, axis, mmr, 5zigen, etc if you want something decent that's not too expensive .. but if you go OEM get the 19's off a newer coupe.. btw, you might end up spending more or just as much gettin the OEM ones then gettin some decent aftermarket wheels.. just a thought

I have 19" Nismo wheels.....problem solved . I have gotten more compliments on my wheels than any aftermarket set I have ever owned (maybe its just the G).

The G37 has never had 17" wheels Not sure what you mean. BTW, Nismo wheels are designed by Nissan, but made by Volks. I have them on my G35 Coupe, and no fitmet issues. Also, if your looking at G37 wheels, there will be a problem with offset. The offset on the G35 is more aggressive than the G37, and any G37 wheel on a G35 coupe will be sunk in, if it fits at all, without spacers.
