recommended treat width for a 19X8
hey guys im getting new rims, anyways what is the best size tire for a 19X8 rim... should the tread width be 225, 235 or 245? thanx

culm,
you can go with 235/35/19 all the way around or that in the front and 245/35/19 in the rear, but you can't rotate if you do this. There is going to be a little bit of a gap if you go with this setup, ideal what i've been told is 245/35/20 all the way around............ dunno though, i'm not sure what i'm gonna do at this point either.

i just put 19"s on my car and my guy recommended going 225/35 but i think 235/35 is probably a better choice. the sidewall of my tires is a little tooo low profile and i regret not going with a 235...that will also increase your sidewall profile just a touch...what rims? Good luck
