Hi i have 05 g35 6MTcoupe and i also have some rims which came out of maxima. i dont know the year and it has winter tires on those rims so i would like to switch my 19'' and put those rims but i am not sure if they would fit. if anyone knows can you please let me know? the size of the tire is 225 50 17

the tire should work, you always want your winter tires to be a little skinnier than your summer setup, but Im not sure how the offset will work in your favor as im sure the Maxima offset is higher than what the G requires. Also im not 100% sure if 17's even clear your OEM brakes.

If you can swing it, I would buy a cheap set of MB wheels or rotas that have at most a 30-mm offset in 17x8 size.

or sell your whole set and by a set of the OEM coupe 18x8 wheels and put some winter or allseasons on them in a 225/45/18 size.

I put 235/40/18 all seasons on my OEM 18's for winter use.

 

17" wheels clear the brakes fine, the offset would be the only thing I would be concerned about

 

does the offset effects the driving such as rubbing on turns and etc or is it just the look and it will look slightly outside of the car?

 

it depends on the width and offset of the wheel. I've run 17x7+50? OEM sedan wheel on my coupe for winters without any issues though
