Sorry for another tire question
Sorry for another tire question
I have searched the threads but didnt see anything pertaining to the particular tires I have found that look somewhat sporty but are also good all around tires. I have 38,000 on the RSA's and its time for some new rubber. I have OEM 17's and was wondering if anyone had feedback on Michelin hydroedge, Goodyear assurance triplethread, and Yokohama S-drive. I live in North Carolina so we get ice or snow about once a year. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance

id go w/ a average-priced tire. No matter how careful or picky u are when tire buying, the value is gonna come from the type of driver you are.
I have S Drives on the rear right now, yokos.
The feel fine. They weren't cheap tho. I definitely wouldn't go w/ the priciest option.

Car is very stable even in three inches of snow. Theirs is a driveway with a 20 Degree inline. Getting up their driveway, when ice covered with snow, is no problem.
Then they took a road trip from Chicago to Phoenix in June. Excellent reaction to steering input combined with a compliant ride were observed. These tires are quiet as well. And they have a Treadlife Rating of over 700.
I've have noticed a couple of late model Mercedes E350s in my office parking lot equipped with the Triple-Treds post OEM.
If you buy from Goodyear (Just Tires), and finance 90 days same as cash on the Goodyear card, you qualify for an $80 rebate direct from Goodyear. Otherwise the rebate is $40. Plus you may qualify for a credit in the form of a warranty proration assuming more than 2/32" of tread depth is left on any single tire.
