OEM 18" 03/04 Coupe Wheels

Couldn't find this specifically in a search....

But does anyone know why the NON STAGGERED set of 7 spoke 18" x 8" OEM coupe wheels actually are imprinted on the back of the spoke with "FRONT" & "REAR" when both fronts and rears look identical and in fact I have tried fitting the fronts and rears to different axels with no fitment issues.

Is it just for when the tires are 225 & 245 widths?

I am running one size all around on my sedan @ 245/40/18 and was just curious if there was a problem in rotating these since the wheels are actually marked "FRONT" and "REAR".

Thanks!

Its just the tires that are staggered, the wheels are the same. Rotation won't be a problem as far as i know.

Thanks 04G35!

Anyone else? Is that the general consensus?

It's not just consensus, it's fact:

http://www.infinitihelp.com/Infiniti...ifications.htm

Scroll down to the "Wheels and Tires" section and you'll see that the 18" wheels are 18 x 8 all around. The tires F/R are different section widths, so that's why Nissan didn't want tire changers to put the 245's on the front and the 225's on the rear.

Cool Thanks Guys!

I knew they were all 18 x 8s. Just didn't know if the bore size was different or anything to match to hubs.
