R17 wheels: basic parameters & offset question

Now I have stock R18 wheels on my `03 Coupe and I`m planning to buy R17 wheels for the coming winter.
Read some sources & this topic https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-...s-offsets.html
The parameters for R17 wheels differ!

There are the following:
1. Front & Rear: 17"x7" +40mm offset 5x114.3mm (5x4.5in) bolt pattern (aka PCD)
2. Front: 17"x7.5" +30mm offset, Rear: 17"x8" +33mm offset
3. Front & Rear: 17"x7" (+45mm)
4. Some sites gives 17"x7.5" +42mm offset

The tires I`m planning to install are
225/50/R17 front & rear
or
225/50/R17 front & 225/55/R17 rear

So what is the best choice? Wheels with what offset would be better?

Can anybody help me with this question?

You want the staggered coupe setup, with the staggered tire setup 225/50/17 and 225/55/17 or 225/50/17 & 235/50/17. The offsets on the 17x7 sedan wheels will work, but will be quite sunken in. I know from experience

Will G35 Coupe staggered tire setup on work on a Sedan?

Similar question, but opposite situation. I have located a set of winter tires w/rims that were purhased for a g35 coupe, and before I buy them for my sedan, I'd like to know if they will cause problems other than speedo error. I have a 2005 6MT sedan with the 18" rims. The sizes of the winter tire setup are 225/45VR18 (x2 front) and 245/45VR18 (x2 rear) on 18" ASA JH3 wheels.

Any help or insight is appreciated.

J
