Tpms Idiot Light

I'm putting snow tires on my car (without the sensors) and was wondering if there is any way of getting the idiot light for the TPMS disabled or turned off.
Thx

It will go on after approx. 30 miles or 30 minutes of driving. I do not think you can disable the light....you could cut a small circle of black electricians tape and place it over the area though.

It stays on all the time once you have removed the sensors and it comes on. It will not go out till you put the wheels with the sensors back on.

It's no big deal though, you get used to it.

my mechanic was telling me to put the sensors on a small piece of pipe, seal one end, put a nipple on the other, and pessurize it to 30 psi. put the pipe in the trunk and presto, no more light!!!! or you can just ignore the light like i've been doing ever since i swapped to aftermarket wheels.
