Anybody running or know if I can run 245/45/17s on 7" wide?

I searched and found lots of talk about 18" and 19" wheels, but couldn't find this. I'm running the stock 17x7" wheels on my X. I found a great deal on some slicks for the autoX, but they are 245/45/r17.

Tire manufacturer suggests minimum 7.5", but I trust they are just playing it safe. So I'm wondering if anyone knows or if anyone has tried this size on the 7" wheel.

Thanks for any and all info.

Even a 235 bulges quite a bit on an 7" wheel, I would not recommend putting a 245 on there at all
