Tire Review

Hey guys
Quick question I m in process to decide which set of tire I should get
It run all around 245 40 19 since I have the G35X
Federal SS-595 or Nankang NS II
I heard Federal is noisy from the review but is bang for the buck
Has anyone ever use this tire before
Thank s in advance

If you are looking for a good "band for the buck" tire then you should look at Kumho, Falken, and Toyo too. Kumho scored very very well in many of the Tirerack tests, even against some of the "big name" tires.

They both look terrible. That's like asking whether its better to step in **** with your right foot or left foot.

I'm about to pull the trigger on some 245/40/19 Falken FK-452 tires all around for my Nismo A34 wheels. The best price I found was for $161 through vulcantire.com. I think I'm going to have discounttiredirect price match and order through them. Also tirerack has the Goodyear Eagle RS-As for $94 a piece. That's a damn good price but the reviews aren't that great on that tire.

i would stay away from general, nankang and federal tire. the falken fk452's are a great tire for the price, as is the kumho ecsta mx(pretty old tire now though).

I felt the same way till I tired General

Also most new Chevy trucks use General tires.

I had them on a previous car for over 15K miles and had no problems. They worked well in the rain and snow also. When I traded that car in the Generals still had alot of tread left.

Thank s for the input guys
This would be my first set on the G and with this bad economic I tried to be more caution in spending for wear and tear.
I had Hankook before on my SUV and run very nice and quite, to me is about what you pay is what you get and just curious if someone has hand on it.

i wouldnt use either of those unless you're "that" strapped for cash.. but be ready to spend more replacing them sooner then most other tires that can be had for just a little bit more...

i had the general uhp's and they were awesome! one of the best bang for the buck tires i've ever used.. falkens fk452's, kumho spt's, yoko w4s (which is what i have now, but no 19's available), yoko s.drives' and hankook v12's are some other tires too look into that are still affordable and perform great also.. good luck!

www.onlinetires.com got some good prices also.. especially for the hankook v12's
