What were the date codes on those Blizzaks?

I was gonna order a set, but the last time i ordered closeout tires from tirerack, they were 4 years old.

I put them on and a year later they were dry cracking and tramlining like crazy.

Since then, i try to put new tires less than 6 months old on.

 

I just purchased a 2007 6MT & live in the upper midwest. Does anyone know if you can buy snow tires for the 19 inch wheel? Has anyone found an all season tire that can be driven year round? Thank you.

 

Nokian WR are the only tires that I could find that received the snow rated designation from Transport Canada. I used them on both of my old cars and managed to get about 80,000 km out of them by running them year round. In the winter they perform remarkably better than an all season tire. The trade off is that in the summer, it gives up some performance.

IMO you are better off at having dedicated winter and summer tires.

I'm running blizzacks lm-25 on my 19s oem,so far they treated me very good..just the price I paid for them $1130 but well worth it..
