350z suspension question

This may have been covered before and if so, I apologize..
I was wondering how much of a difference installing the 350z suspensions makes in the ride and the handling of a G35 coupe?

Re: 350z suspension question

Their are 2 different version's of Z suspensions. One is on the 2003 car's and the other is on the 2004 cars. Both would offer a firmer ride quality, with the 2003 Z setup being less refined with some bounce issues and to some, harshness. But either setup will outperform the oem coupe suspension. Turn in performance is much better, and rate of weight transfer is also much better, bascially the setup is a more willing partner to push the car harder. You can do better, but the setup is highly cost effective. And not everyone is interested in lowering.

Re: 350z suspension question

So putting 350Z suspension will NOT lower the coupe right? Some 350Z owners are selling their suspension on eBay claiming it'll lower the G35 coupe about 1".

Black on Black 5AT Coupe, Navi
Falken Koblenz 19x8.5 F 19x9.5 R
Falken FK-451 245/35 F 285/35 R
HKS Legamax Exhaust
350Z Duct
Stillen Hi Flow
7 Wire Hypergrounding Kit

Re: 350z suspension question

NO THE 350Z suspension will NOT lower the coupe, their the same springs. The shock valving is totally different between the two. I saw that ad and I emailed the guy and pointed out his error urging him to correct the ad.

Re: 350z suspension question

So the only difference in Coupe suspension and the 350z Suspension is the Shocks (meaning the springs are the same)
I have seen several post offering the 350z suspension for sale

If I wanted to change/upgrade then it seems all I would need is the 2004 350z Shocks ...correct?
