Sedan Fitment ???

I'd like to try and run 18x9.5 wheels w/ 265/40/18 tires all-around on my 03.5 sedan. The wheel offset is +38, the back will fit fine, just not sure on the fron fitment?

9.5 should fit in front with that kind of offset. Might need a little work and smaller tires, but nothing too extreme. Sedan owners like to stay conservative that's why you don't see many people with aggressive setups.

Yeah, i'm trying to fit as much tire all-around as I can, but also using a wider wheel for a more aggressive look. I am running about -1.5 camber up front, so that should help squeeze it in there.

no way you can fit a 265 up front... period. You'd have to run a 245 tire with that width of wheel and offset.

damn......so not even 255/40/18 would work. Well, I guess I could stick to the 245 I have currently and just remount on new wheels, maybe then I could get a more accurate measure of them fitting.

I didn't think it would fit with that tire, i'm glad gdup responded. if anyone knows, he knows. he's probably tried all these setups at one time or another.

According to the sedan fitment chart, 9.5 +38 is way past the cut off for the front suspension? How is this possible with any tire combo??

I'm looking into 9" +37 and not even sure if this will hit as there is approx 4mm to front struts?

Anyone know?

Thanks.
