Kuhmo Tires
Who's got em? Any opinions/reviews? They are selling at a pretty good value. I'm looking for info on Kuhmo ECSTA Supra 712 tires. Thanks in advance.

It's still a G thang!!

Re: Kuhmo Tires
Originally on my Honda I had 4 Nitto 450. Once those wore out I replaced them with the Kuhmo 712 (205/40/17) and have barely noticed a difference. I also recently replaced the rear 2 tires on my 330ci (245/40/17) with the Kuhmo 712 as well. I haven't noticed a difference in road noise or performance...and I drive my cars pretty hard at times. IMO it is a good value since they are considerably cheaper than similar tires. I haven't really paid attention to the tread life but I think they have a slightly lower tread wear rating.
They have also been pretty solid as far as blowouts.

Re: Kuhmo Tires
THe Ecsta 712s are copies of the Michelin Pilot Sport. They tend to get noisy after about 6000 miles. They have a stiff sidewall as well. I like them until they start to whine and it gets really bad. The price is great but you can't keep them on your car for very long. I had them on my 911 and my Galant. Both had 16's on them. Try them... they're cheap and they may get you by until you find a tire you love-Michelin.
Its hard to beat Michelin they are the best all around tire but expensive. Try the tirerack for reviews of all the tires they sell.
