Re: rims stolen!!!
If he doesn't have insurance, then just buy some OEM rims off of Ebay or even off the Parts/Accessories page here on G35driver. As one person already mentioned, you can snag a practically new set of OEM "18 with good condition tires for around $1500.

Re: rims stolen!!!
Claim the rims.. Remember there was a guy who get new Volks LE37T's and tires with money to spare because of his claims.

Re: rims stolen!!!
That is absolute b.s. Insurance companies can NOT raise your premium for making a comprensive claim.

Re: rims stolen!!!
If he is going to pay for anything that an insurance company covers why would he even bother having insurance? Maybe I am missing something.

Re: rims stolen!!!
Insurance companies are just an organized way of stealing peoples money. Think of all the money that goes in so they can cover your @$$ in the case something should happen. I'd say the average person (based on a $2000/year policy) pays at least $10,000 on insurance between claims. Now with that add the deductible, $500, then add the raise in premium (say it was stolen wheels ~$4000 worth), add $50 a month = $600 for the year x 3 years (minimum) $1800. You've now payed the insurance $12,300 to cover your @$$ in the case of a mishap. When in actuality they should have banked all that you have invested, maybe take some interest and feed from your supply. not charging you a penny more than your deductible. What a concept. Now if what you have banked exceeds the cost of your mishap, then and only then shall you be forced to pay an added excess. I think I'm on to something here.

And when you mow down a row of children, who will pay the millions in medical bills?.. We would all save approx. $250 per year if there was less insurance fraud alot less lawyers.
