Show Off Your RIMS
Show Off Your RIMS
Hey whats up everyone. My sister parked my car yesterday and totally dogged my front rims. Should i buy a new stock one or get after market ones. If you have changed your rims please post a pic, with specs would be nice, and show them babies off. THANKS
Re: Show Off Your RIMS
It's funny how I've never seen one single post where someone claims to have curb rashed their wheels. It's always "my sister" "my wife" "my daughter" LOL..... Not trying to bust your *****, just making a funny observation.
You can get it repaired for $150 and it will mostly match but not be exact.
You can buy a brand new one for mid $200s on ebay (I'm assuming you have the 18").
You can chrome them for about $800 and they will be heavier, compromising the performance of your car.
You can replace them with aftermarket, sell your current set and recoupe some of the cost for the new ones. If you go aftermarket, and you care about performance, pay attention to the weight of the new wheel. My strategy is to go with the Nismos weighing in at around 17-18 pounds each. That translates to about 100 pounds off the total weight of my car and more nimble handling.
