I was going out 2 weekends ago and was on a main road with lots of construction going on. Of course it was night time and for some reason them retards left some kind of pipe cemented to the ground. It was difficlult to see in the dark, unfortunatly cracked 2 of my 20" Chrome ADR rims. Both were warped with a 6" - 7" crack. Some how the tires came out alright. To make a long story short I am having the hardest time trying to find either a dealer in the houston area or a dealer on the internet that will sell just two rims. I've tryed a few and they either sell the whole package of rims and tires or they say there is a 6 month back order. If anyone can help me out on where I can get them as soon as possible i would greatly appreciate it.

 

The comprehensive portion of your insurance policy will cover this, assuming the loss is far greater than your deductible. You can also contact the municipality where this happened and file a claim for the dangerous road condition.

Take pictures of the road ASAP before they fix it and say nothing was ever there. How fast were you going? I have the same rims and now I'm worried about how sturdy they are.

 

Honestly, I wasn't going fast at all, maybe about 20-25mph because I had to go over a railroad track and the road then started to slope downward a bit. Thats why it was kind of tough to see especially in the dark.

 

please don't get upset at me, but it happens with ADR's. insurance should cover a portion. the state/city should have the sinkhole checked out and compensate you for it.

 

Yeah ADR's are Junk! My friend owns a whel shop and has a couple come back with cracked rims. They had 40's on them.

 

Damn, might be time to look for something new!
