Best winter tire size for 03 coupe?
I have some falken all seasons on now and this thing barely moves in the snow here in MN. I need some winter tires and Im wondering what the best size is. Should I just go with 225/45 18 all around or should I stay staggered? Does it matter? Id like to go 225 all around cuz its cheaper and I know a narrower tire works better for traction in snow

You'll get a few different opinions from peeps. But, you're right in that it is better to go with narrower tires than wider tires as it will limit the amount of "plowing". Also, some peeps minus size (-1) their tires...if your summer set up is 18", you roll with 17" winters. Some have gone to 16".
Personally, I wasn't able to get the tire size that I was looking for. So, my current set up is Pirelli Snowsport 210s on 17" wheels, 225/50 up front and 245/50 in the back.
