Tires for these wheels

Hi guys. I just bought the 19in Axis Supermeshes from romanwarrior and I need to get tires for them now. The set are 19X8.5 in front and 19X9.5 in rear. What tire sizes will bring the dimensions back to near stock?
romanwarrior mentioned using 245/35/19 for the front but according to the tire size calculator, 245/40/19 would be closer to stock (when compared to the 225/55/17 of my sedan's sport wheels). For the rear, 285/35/19 would seem to work as well. Would these tire sizes work?
Also, an tire recommendations for quiet/grip/wet & dry performance/treadlife? I know that's asking for everything but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Andrew

The stock tire size on the sedan is 215/55/17"s.

The 245/40's will be slightly larger than stock but closer to it than the 245/35's. Also, 275 or 285/35 should be fine in the rear.

the common size tire for 19's are 245-35(f), 275-35(r), i have S-03's and they are so far, awsome, have also heard the goodyear's F1 GS-D3 are very good as well...with most of the high performance tires, tend to have shorter treadlife, if you can get 20k out of them i would think its pretty good.

Re: Tires for these wheels

Hm... Thanks for the info. Yeah, I was mistaken about the OEM tire size. Looks like I'll go with the 245/40/19 up front. It's slightly larger but I figure I'll get a slightly more comfortable ride so that would be cool.

The wheels should come with 40mm offset front and 45mm offset rear. Should they be ok for the sedan? Thanks.
