CAMBER KIT??? HELP!!!!

I want to drop my G35C 6mt, should I get coilovers or just springs? Whats the best run for your money and quality??? AND if I drop about 1.2 inches in the front and back. Would I be needing a camber kit and if so what kit do you recommend.

Please help me out with some recommendations!!! thanks

If you're planning on some extensive track time, get coilovers. If not, springs will be fine.

Try a search under tein, rsr, eibach, tanabe, etc., and you'll get more info than you'll want on which ones to get.

1.2" will definitely put you out of spec. I'm at about 1" all around and they are all out of spec. A good, inexpensive camber kit is the Kinetix. Look at kinetixracing.com.

Do you know if the 1 inch drop is going to effect the life of the shocks ??? and do you think it is necessary to replace them???

Re: CAMBER KIT??? HELP!!!!

It will definitely affect the life of the shocks but I haven't heard of any G or Z owner's having their's fail yet. For those who have had aftermarket springs on for a while, it could be tomorrow or not for a couple more years. Just not enough time to know for sure.

I have the RSR Ti springs and they dropped my car about 1" all around. I'm very happy with the ride and handling. It's definitely stiffer but my fillings stay in even on the roughest roads. If you just go with springs, just try the stock shocks first. If you don't like it, you can always upgrade later.
