How Bad is salt on the road for Wheels??

So we had an ice/snow here the other day, and they salted the **** out of the roads. I don't have any rubber on my stock wheels or they would be on right now, but how bad is the salt for my wheels??
I have axis shines btw.
Thanks

It ain't good...it will cause pitting over time. Take a bucket of water out to them and rinse them down as soon as you can.
