i'm about to buy wheels and i can save 400 if i go with 275/30, but some ppl say the vdc gets messed up. should i just stay away from this size or will i be ok?

does this cause the vdc to not function or the light just comes on and off

 

My VDC light came on when I had first put the wheel and tire package on but after that, nothing was wrong. VDC still kicks in when I take a hard corner so I don't think it would effect it.

darn. i already ordered the 275/35 because a lot of ppl at the 350z forum had trouble with the 275/30. spent an extra 400 for toyos..

 

the 30 series is about 1-inch shorter in overall diameter compared to the stock tires. go 275/35ZR19 or even 285/35ZR19.

I wouldnt see the problem in it. You save $400 thats cool. My traction control is always off anyways.... only time its on is when its raining.

i already ordered it with toyos for 400 more instead of hankook...i hope toyos are worth it.

 

you will like the toyo's. You're better off to spend the money IMO.
