OEM 19" Rays... Tire size suggestions
#17
Ok, not doubting anybodys advice here, but i just like to fully understand everything... using this calucaltor http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos
comparing stock 245/40/19 to 255/35/19 theres a speedo diff of: -1.68 mph @ 65mph
comparing stock 245/40/19 to 255/40/19 theres a speedo diff of: +0.77
That says the 255/40 is actually more accurate with the stock speedo than the 35s. Now this is only comparing back tires.
on the front comparing stock 225/40/19 to 245/35/19 speedo diff of: -0.83 MPH
and stock 225/40/19 to 245/40/19 speedo diff of: +1.57 MPH
Ok so what does that mean to me? LOL... well it looks like 255/40 and 245/35 is the best closest to stock comparision?
or am I just making stuff up here? LOL

Falkens are going to make your car's tire sound luxury quiet.
I wish I kept them when I had them. However my car kept pulling to the right more when I ran Falken 245/35/19 vs my Nexen 245/35/19 for some reason.
I'm guessing I had a faulty tire at the time. So discount tire ended up swapping them back to the Nexen they first installed which didn't cause my issue.
Anyone know how Michelin Piliot Sport PS2s handle and sound in this size?

I know this is an old post but I just got a set of this wheels for my coupe and was wondering if any of you are running same size all around? I have been purchasing a set of tires for my coupe practically every other year due to staggered fitment. I was hoping that others had considered this before. The tire size that I think will work is 245/35/19 but would like some ideas about this. Thanks in advance!
