Your advice - Goodyear or Bridgestone

Which one who you pick if the price is about the same?

215/55R17 94V Bridgestone Potenza G019 GRID (Treadwear: 460)

or

215/55R17 94V GoodyearŽ Eagle GT (Treadwear: 400)

Thanks!

Whatever you buy they won't be expensive with 17" wheels, I vote Goodyear.
Bridgestones may have a better wear rating but that's NOT always the
best tire! Tire stores sell tires guaranteed for 60K miles but I wouldn't want
them on my car....think wet streets and hard rubber! Ouch!!

Go to Tire Rack or Discount Tire to read reviews and look at survey data. Also, consider going to a the larger 225/55/17 or the 215/60/17's ... more comfortable ride, improves mpg slightly (5-10 miles per tank) and it covers much of the ugly wheel well gap. As of 3 weeks ago, I went to this size with Falken 912's (<$100 apiece with excellent reviews). Most guys like to lower their cars (perhaps a drastically overrated and impractical mod in the East Coast????) and get wider tires... I prefer to get a taller tire in the 225 or 235 range, which raises the car about .5 to .75 inches and still covers the well well gap.

Goodyear. IMO, overall they make better tires. I have no experience with those exact ones...
