question regarding 3 piece wheels...

do the inner and outer barrels have to be the same width?
say for example on a 10" width 3-piece wheel, does the inner barrel have to be 5" and outer 5"?
or can it be 4" inner and 6" outer?

Nope.

I know lots of guys with different widths on their inner and outter wheel parts.
