No wheel lock key . . .

I bought a used G35 this week and just noticed it had what i will assume are the factory wheel locks. I searched the car up and down for the lock but couldnt find it or the card with the key number on it. The car came from Nissan/Infiniti auction so there is really no asking anyone.

Has anyone had to get another from infiniti, and if so how much was it?

the wheel locks could be aftermarket. most locks, even when bought at dealers, are aftermarket. is there a piece of paper anywhere with the lock model #? you might need to find a shop that has a bunch of different keys and trial-and-error yourself out of the situation. i don't know what else to suggest...

Your dealer will have a master lock and you may be able to get an extra from them. I did when we thought mine was missing. N/C

ohhh noooos I had this happen to me once we had to weld a nut on to the lock to get it off it was on a previous car I am not sure if it can be done on a G, I have also heard of guys getting a socket roughly the same size as the lock and pounding it over the lock to get it off. Good luck!

head up to your local nissan/infiniti and ask them if they can do you a favor and use the master lock set to remove it. be sure to throw the technician a few bucks for his time
