Hey guys,

When I was at my dealer, they informed me that I had worn 60 to 70% of my tread on my back wheels on my coupe. The fronts are about at 50% worn. My question, since I want to keep the same size (225/45R18 Front and 245/45R18 Rear), is what type should I replace them with? I have looked at both the Michelin Pilot All Season and the Michelin Pilot 2's, but I am not sure which is the best.... I want a tire that will be both sporty, but not wear out under 20,000 miles either. I welcome everyone's comments as I didn't think picking out replacements was going to be such a tough decision.

I assume you have Pilot Sport's on now? The Pilot Sport PS2 will be a little sportier, and probably wear out just as fast. The Pilot Sport A/S will give up a little bit of that sportiness, but not much, and give you better tread life -- it's supposed to be the best jack-of-all-trades tire out there right now.

It also doesn't hurt to call up TireRack and ask one of their reps. Those guys are fairly knowledgeable about their products.
