Is it better to roll fenders or shave them??Help!!!!

what up people okay im getting ready to lower my 05 sendan with tein coupe h-tach springs, im running 275-40-18 with 38mm offset. okay so i went down to the shop were they are gonna install my springs and the guy told me that fender rolling wont do anything for my and that i would need to shave my fenders, so i wanted to ask you guys what u think right now i rub only on hard dips, and the guy i had talk to about the rims said that he had them on his sedan with the same springs with no rub. so my question is what should i do should i just tell them to roll the renders or just shave them down. he suggested to shave cuz the tire is already sticking out. and i wanna do it right cuz i have a month old and my wife and kid are gonna be in the back most the time. so any info or suggestions would help alot

Sounds to me that guy doesn't really know what he's talking about.

As you lower the car the more your camber goes negative. By shaving your fenders you are only getting a couple more mm of clearance, if you roll your fenders good enough you can get it just as close almost as it you were to cut them. you will be fine with a roll!

Also, if you roll them and need more clearance, you can actually pull them out a few mm further. Can't really do this with a shaved fender

I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong. Rolled fenders keep rigidity in the rear panels while shaved fenders will "bend easier" if hit, etc. I'd stick with rolled in either case

Rolled is the best way to go it will keep the body pannels tough and wont weaken the fenders. only real difference is a Credit card thickness of metal will be bent against the body pannel ve cutting that off. excuse my 1st grader picture i was in a hurry kinda.

ROLL ROLL ROLL ROLL ROLL!!! shaving is no good.

By the looks of it, you will need a mild roll at the most, nothing major.
