where is the original set right now? I just dont understand why F1 cant sell the other set for you....its not that hard, these wheels been selling well for Work, and good offsets and no wait too.

damn.. sorry to hear about everything.

I know bro. One would think it would be a no brainer. HRS has the original set.

How much do you want for the wheels???
well, if comes down to it and I DO have to accept the original ones, I'd be more than happy if someone would buy them off me so I can get what I wanted originally. I paid $2700 for them (FYI). Shoot me a PM, we'll talk

So Chris is no longer at F1? No wonder I couldn't find him when I was gonna order my rims couple months back. I could have order elsewhere for bit cheaper, but Christ spent a lot of time educating me over PM so I wanted to give him the credit.

Anyways, Ralph I hope you get everything resolved soon, I totally can understand how frustrating your situation is. With all that money, time, patience invested.
Ive never had a problem with Chris. Chris and Pat are the ONLY ones tring to help me out. Chris took care of me when I bought my GTS's. For me, since everything went flawlessly the first go-around, it was a no brainer who I wanted to use for these Works. I didnt know I would be getting the short end of the stick. Hopefully Chris has good news for me on tuesday.

wow sorry to hear about this man. I bought 3 sets of wheels from Chris @ F1 mostly b/c he'd offer the lowest prices of ANY vendor and the great service that he'd provide. I have a feeling though that they would provide such low prices that they werent making much profit...

Thanks for the post as I'm currently shopping for rims.

It's hard to believe that companies still don't understand the impact of word of mouth. (BTW don't buy any Sony products!!)

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully this will prevent anyone else from buying anything from F1 for the time being, until this all gets sorted out and resolved satisfactorily.

So what's up with the set you already have? Are they going to sell it for you on consignment, or are you going to try and sell them yourself?

yea, HRS currently has those wheels. Originally, once I called F1 and told them I got the wrong set, Aun was tring to convince me to keep them. Then Aun told me to try and sell them myself because he didnt want to take them back. Well, I didnt. One month goes by and HRS finally had the orginal set picked up. Aun kept saying that the +5 front & rear offset is too aggressive and that it would be very hard to sell those off. He didnt want to be stuck with them. Again, how is that my problem?? I got the original set in 3-4 weeks time. Ordered them early october, got them in november. Not until the last couple weeks did I start getting pissed cause it was taking so damn long! Aun has been giving me the run-around ever since.

Chris has been keeping in touch with me everyday since last friday. He's going to call me again today. Chris told me last night that things are looking good in my favor. So...we'll see. Im anxious to talk with him tonight.

This situation sucks and you shouldn't be the one paying for their mistake. Good Luck!
