What's your point? Nothing else to do besides spend countless hours on this and other websites like you and everyone else on this forum? Nothing else to do besides trying to protect my "privacy" and prevent shady individuals from using my property for their benefit?

Here's what I wrote:

Dear wheelplanet, My name is Wil and the picture of the G35 with the 20 inch ADR Sterling is MY CAR. You guys "stole" the picture off of g35driver.com and are using it to advertise your product without my permission. This picture was taken by me! I wouldn't mind if you had asked me in the first place, but I don't like the idea of a company that has as much negative feedback as you do to be using my picture to make money. I tried to call you but no one answered and your voice mail box is "full", neither of which surprised me very much. Please remove the picture of my car from your ad or I will notify ebay directly and have them delete your auction. I will also post a negative feedback if you do not comply. Please respond quickly thank you

Here's their response:

I am very sorry that you think we stole your picture. I have never heard of that website. You can call ADR Wheels, the Ontario office, and ask for John Huang. We asked him for a picture of the wheels on a car, and he sent us that one, claiming it was his friends. Before you accuse us of theft, ask first. We will take it off though- Thanks

Needless to say, I don't know John Huang and the picture still has not been removed.

Thanks to all for your comments and feedback. I just thought this might be an interesting topic. I'll keep you posted on whether or not they remove the picture.

Interesting development! I don't know who is responsible but either way the company sounds very shady. Let us know if they follow through with the removal of the pic like they said they would, I mean afterall it was an "honest" mistake by them! [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img]

As for the nothing else to do guy, just ignore him. It is pretty ironic when people actually take the time to post on a forum about others having nothing better to do. lol...gets me everytime!!

Update:
Those @$$holes promised to remove the picture but failed to follow through. So I wrote to Ebay and they went ahead and deleted the whole auction! How's that for service? Muwahahahahahah
