so i have clearly noticed the disregard to the sevas company throughout the past yet i am still impressed by their wheel designs. i feel the s55's are just a perfect style rim for me considering the large spacing emphasizing the 04's brembos as well as the dual spokes which really just seem to look good. due to my recent circumstances (aka a-holes on the road especially in isla vista california) my car has been scratched, dented and overall abused. i am going in for a paint job to a exquisite looking black (from my brilliant silver) that my dad was almost tempted to match his 78 vette to. i am very excited and always have been a fan of black cars so no flames please
long story short, im looking for new rims and i went on sevas website and it seems they have had quite a disagreement with the website company they used, anyone else notice this?
also alternative question, i think a black rim with a chrome lip would be awesome on the black car but potentially too agressive, therefore was wondering what people would choose between, black, chrome, or a flat silver (non chrome) type set up...thanks guys!

Having an s55 snap on the freeway suddenly and totaling your car would not be cheap either, do you really want to risk buying a set of wheels that has THAT many issues just because it is cheap?
the kelley blue book value of a 2004 infiniti g35 with approximately 80,000 miles on it in excellent condition is $14060 in good condition is $13110. please tell me the logic in spending $5000 on rims and roughly $1200 on tires (therefore 6200 or roughly half the worth of the car). i also have spoken to the sevas dealers and their rims are warrantied under normal driving conditions. they have put much research into the snapped rims and upon investigation (not simply going on a forum and saying something to everyone) they have found that most people were not driving under normal driving conditions (such as doing 110mph over railroad tracks as was the case in a snapped set of rims they had to deal with)
either way you have completely avoided my question of 1. if anyone knew what happened to the website and 2. an opinion on the color of the rim

hey, maybe the website is being updated and go with a flat silver color for your wheels so they pop. i rock sevas and no problems besides losing a rivit and stickers coming off... i also agree with your logic... good luck!

The cracking isn't limited to just one of their styles. It was several of their cast styles, in various sizes, and now there are reports of the same thing happening to their forged line too.
