just picked up some 19' oem wheels they need all new tires was wondering what size to get from what i've read 245/40/19 is a good choice. by the way i have a 03 sedan and want to get same size tire all the way around i also plan on lowering soon after wheels go on. any input would be helpful i priced falken 452 and kumo estca ?

if you're going to lower... get 35's around. I went 245/35 front and 255/35 rears kumho ecsta spt. Very happy with them

Im going to order a set of Falken FK452s next week and im going to do what Marcus (candlestickpark) did and run 245/40/19 all the way around. Fills the front wheel gap a bit better.

I have the FK452's and i'm really happy with them. I went with the 245/40/19 for ride quality. One thing i noticed in shopping for tires was that theres a pretty big difference in pricing between the 35 and 45 series tires. I almost went with 35's for the price but didn't want to alter the overall diameter...

I rubbed once on my passanger rear going 35mph+ and hit a big dip with my friends in the back (2 200lbs+ dudes). Other than that.... never rubbed. I talked to Marcus (candlestickpark) when I was in the market for tires and was going to go with the falken fk-452's in the 40 series, but he said he rubbed a bit in steep inlcines and driveways and such. So I knew I was going to lower it and decided to go with the 35's. Gave me a lot of room to work with if I wanted to go lower and not have to roll the fenders

I had 245 35 19 all round and they were nice, but the speedo was about 2 mph fast (but it helped keep me out of trouble ). I went to 245 40 19 and it was perfect. I had 18" sport wheels on it stock. I like the little extra "meat" that the forty side walls give and with the 8" rims, they give just enough protection to keep down the curb rash.

Here are the 35 series tires on M45 sport rims:
