Survey, Z or Eibach suspension

Any of you guys out there that would like to share your insight
with either the Z350 suspension or Eibach springs would be greatly appreciated. Ride comfort, handling and lowering of the car etc. on the sedan..and any negatives that you have encountered. I need one or the other jus not sure...........

Thanks

Re: Survey, Z or Eibach suspension

Only thing that I don't care for with the oem 350Z suspension on my sedan is that it has the same bounce issues that has had the whole Z community up in arms for some time. 04 Z's built after 11/30/03 have a revised suspension that makes the ride quality better.

The Z suspension, because you are also replacing the oem shocks, does a night and day better job of controlling weight transfer issues, something that just springs alone cannot cure and tend to be amplified by progressive type springs. Brake dive, squat ( rear end diving down while getting on and off the throttle) and turn in performance are all stellar with the Z suspension. The Z suspension's better shock control empowers the sedan to be more of percision tool in your hands so you can wring more out of the car, it become easier to drive more quickly. Which may or may not be what your after.

Re: Survey, Z or Eibach suspension

I second what Gsedan said. I just put the 04 Z suspension on my sedan. The handling is stellar. No dive or squat. Really nice carving the canyons. Around town the ride is great. On so-so freeways like the 405 the ride is firm. It's not the floaty cruiser that it was with the sport suspension but it's not too harsh either.

Good luck !
