ASA wheels. Any good?

Tirerack has a few 18" wheel/tire package for around $1100 mounted/balanced/shipped. Not too familiar with rim brand names, as i'm more of a stock rim fan, but im maybe looking to experiment this spring/summer, and throw a nice pair of 18"s on my sedan. Thanks!

I had them on my old ride, very good quality rims. They share the same manufacturing techniques as BBS, albeit in a non-forged state.

The rims i had (AR1) were very strong. I hit a pothole at about 40mph. The tire blew out but the wheel held its integrity... and the AR1 has a lip.

Most ASA wheels are LP-Cast, so they're a bit stronger than your run-of-mill cast wheel.
