for the 1st person wit the desert colored g35, awesome drop, thats like how i want it, what are those springs or coilovers? and if they are coilovers, is it dropped to the max in the pic in your signature? or can it go even lower? looks very nice... i bet it would be difficult to drive around that tucked...

I am on JIC coilovers.. it can go about 2" lower than the pictures in my signature. I ride tucking tire all around and have no issues with clearance. I drive quite sportingly and don't put too much attention to worrying about scraping and whatnot. Granted, when my ings kit gets here and my 20s are on it should raise the car up enough to still be okay, but i may need to go up a little more just to be safe.

you definitely need camber arms and whatnot to be tuckin tire all around or you will eat up tires like crazy.

some people say i cheat because i live in florida and the roads are pretty smooth here.

tuxidomaxima, nice... so how much for those JIC coilovers? and what kind of camber kit do i get to bring both the front and rear to 0? I want my car that low for daily driving, but do not want to wear my tires out, so please help me out on this... Also can you please post more pics of your car, i would like to see the whole thing and how low it is

The problem with cars lowered that much is it's bad for the tires (uneven wear), bad for the car (scraped bumper and underbody), and bad for traction (much of the tire doesn't touch the ground due to camber problems).

IMO, you need camber arms if you're going to lower the car. Here's my ideal drop (albeit on the sedan--but you get the idea) amount, courtesy of the Eibach springs:

Re: want to see pics of slammed g35 coupes

JICs run about 1800 shipped from a friend of mine for the FLTA2's (top/most adjustable model) and a couple hundred bucks less for the FLTA1's which are less adjustable (soft/stiff) but same height adjustability.

www.kinetixracing.com has the best camber stuff for the price for our cars.. if you plan on riding around the tire (more than 2" drop) you will need the whole camber/control/traction arm kit. it will definitely be worth the money up front to save your tires, and it will get you damn close to within stock specs if not dead on even riding around tuckin near to the rim.

And I don't have any full on shots of the car tucking tire, just where the car sits now (sitting on the tire). I don't have my camber pieces yet and am tryin to save the tires until they get here. As soon as they are on, I will slam the car again and get it aligned and take pictures. I have some pictures of the car sitting around the tire if you want?

Yea, I just got some Tein S-Techs and they did my alignment and they can't put it back. What should I do?

g35chic, what do you mean they cant put it back? explain? I plan on getting a set of tein stechs too, heard the drop was nice, no gap drop, and the ride is very close to stock, unlike the eibachs... how do you like em? any pics of your g with the stechs installed?

They can't put it back to what the standard alignment should be..when you first buy your G35 everything is stocked and the alignment is fine. But, once you put springs in, the alignment changes and they can't put it back the way it was before.

Re: want to see pics of slammed g35 coupes

she means her rear camber (and most likely fronts as well) is pretty bad and she'll have uneven tire wear. she needs a camber correction kit (i dunno if there is one for the G coupe) coz her rear tires are so badly aligned (negative) it will wear the tires out fairly quick.

Re: want to see pics of slammed g35 coupes

i thought the with the s.techs it wont be that much of a camber problem, its just a 1.2 inch drop and 0.9 on rear... not that bad. most people are fine w/o alignment ot camber issues...
