I got a set of CS's from Performance Nissan. Labor was $400 with alinement. I figured I paid $80 more to have it done right, but the price for the coilovers were the cheapest I've found anywhere. It took 6 hours tho. I figure the Flex's are fine, since you can't adjust the rear damping once the shock is on.

randy... i highly highly suggest you go to SIGNAL.

even if you find better prices somewhere else... signal already is giving you an awesome price... and their techs are awesome.

imo signal is one of the top import tuning shops in socal... along with sp engineering and xs engineering (many more too... so cal rules).

signal also has mass experience with nissans... almost all of their drift cars have been nissans.

with a product like tein flex coilovers... the most important part is not actually the install... but tuning the shocks/ride height correctly to make the car handle neutrally. signal will likely take into account how you drive and your tires/wheels and will tune accordingly.

i'm not saying other shops won't do this... but suspension is not something all tuning shops are exceptional at (whereas many are competent in engine tuning)

Yes, but he was a great deal more than a competitor. And the competitor is very well known. Not to say Street Image isn't, I'm just saying, I'm not going with the other guy cuz of cost only, but because he's good too. Notice how I've refrained from mentioning their name. I've heard NOTHING but GREAT things about Street Image and would def recommend them, if the price was right.

Signal is a very well known shop. But speaking from experience, they are NOT as good as people say they are. Their drifter twin 240sx are prob their best work, but they have a reputation of NOT working on the customer's cars as well as they work on their own. Just ask the techs at Motorex and Autolink, they get countless customers with bad install from Signal all the time!! Bad installs like failure to install a spec required high flow fuel pump on SR20DET swaps(which they claim they specialize in), to putting front aftermarket springs in the back and the back ones in the front.. There are a lot more. Word of advice, if you plan to drift your 15 years old RPS13 or Hachi, go to Signal. But def. take your near 40,000 dollar car to a more specialized shop.
