Planning on it. Looking at Gorilla Locks. I dont really know anything about it

It seems that no one likes Tirerack.com? I don't really have a lot of time to take care of this, so I thought they would be fast. (Currently in a rental).

Is there a recommended online dealer?

update: New wheels came in, and were put on by my mechanic. I noticed driving home that i hear a metal on metal sound coming from the rear of the car. I picked the car up after hours. I am taking the car to NTB tomorrow for alignment, but I am worried about the metal on metal sound......any thoughts on what that could be? Could it be the new rims? damage to the rotors/breaks?

That'll slow down a good thief a good 30 seconds or so. To the OP: Sorry about your loss, that is terrible. Hope everything works out.

wow

Man I am really sorry for your loss.

I really don't know how some of you owners hook your cars up and then live in these Apt communities. Buy a house with a garage and get a big *** dog.

Most Communities that I have lived in and I lived in a really nice one at one time have thier fair share of inconsiderate, loud, uncouth people and they have friends who are just as bad or even worse professional thieves
The other thing about living in those communities is that there are some people who know the times when you are there and when you leave.

I grew up in New York City, you couldn't have a nice car parked in the street without someone stealing it within 30 days.

Remember if your car looks good to you it looks even better to the low life thief.

I really hope my Rotors weren't damaged.

If I wanted to upgrade to something nicer (like brembo brakes, etc), where do i even start to look?

Damn, that's terrible. At least you can use the ins. money to buy some aftermarket wheels.

sucks to see this, we're having a serious epidemic here in NY of stolen g35/g37/m45 wheels, as well as break ins, that just take of a tinted window and leave it as one piece on the ground........

I feel your pain. The 19 inch stock rims were stolen off my car yesterday. They left it sitting on bricks. I had security in my comple come upstairs to tell me that my rims were stolen. I feel so numb right now. I had Infiniti come pick up the car and haul it off to the repair shop. They messed up the front grill when they dropped it in the front. I hate that people target you for your rims. As a female I work hard for nice things. DAMN SCUM BAGS...

Hey OP, did you get the money from insurance company? Do they bring up the insurance cost? Sorry for your loss but you're still lucky though, your rotors and everything else is in good shape.

Thumbs down MY Poor G35 rims

My whole experience with the insurance company was horrible. I filed a claim with GEICO yesterday and they told me that someone would come pick up the car today to tow it to the repair shop. I called back TODAY and was told that no one could pick up the car because the tow drivers did not want to be responsible for towing a car without wheels... WTF?? Are you serious. I feel like I am being victimized again.. I finally called Infiniti (who seems to care about what the heck happens to the leased vehicle) They immediately came to retrieve the car within 2 hours. GEICO stated that they would fix all the damage and replace my tires and rims but claimed they could not send a tow truck because I needed tires. UN FREAKIN BELIEVABLE... By the way, I have full coverage with these fools....

OP- sorry to hear about that hope it gets resolved ASAP!!

FYI- for other Geico insured's make sure to inform Geico of any after market wheels or parts including stereo's they will not cover any aftermarket parts unless they are added to the policy and you pay an additional premium.

I feel like GEICO should have done more for me. It's sad when your insurance company tells you to basically take a hike.

I saved a bunch of money by switching FROM geico to progressive.

Tell them to shove off; speak with your dollar.
