Those of you with aftermarket wheels

I recently purchased a set of wheel from my friend who sold his Z. They are 5zigen hypers 19x8.5 and 19x9.5.
I have the brembo package on my G and my question is that there is a bolt that wont let me put the front wheels on..

What is this? The bolt wont let the aftermarket wheels go on!!
Its only on the front wheeels too! I got the rear ones on and they clear and fit perfect! Anyone know what this is??????

Re: Those of you with aftermarket wheels

That bolt is there to keep you from putting the stock rear wheels on the front... Just take them off and you'll be set...

Re: Those of you with aftermarket wheels

OK, some I am gonna come out of the closet on this one and ask a very stupid question, but this has kept me intrigued for a while.
How does the rod work???
I thought the rear and front wheels are the same. 8 inch wheels. How does the rod prevent the rear wheel to fit in the front???

Front wheels have a groove in them.

Well, it's a bolt, but I'm not sure why it works...maybe the offset for the front and rear are dif?

Infiniti was trying to make it "Moron" proof....
"Ugh....Why are my front tires wider than my rear ones after my rotate and balance Earl???"

"I like you.....You remind me of myself when I was young and foolish"
