Wheel disassembly

I have a set of Volk GT-7's and I was curious to know if the face can be safely removed from the wheel itself and then put back on without any special instructions. Ive searched and googled and I have gotten conflicting answers. Some are saying the face, even though it is held on by bolts is actually glued or adheared somehow to the wheel itself. Others are saying you can in fact take the face off as long as you retorque the bolts correctly upon reassembly.
Has anyone done this before on a similar wheel or know anything about it?

Thanks,
Chase

Just to update this. I called Makin. They said the wheels can be taken apart and put back together without a problem. They dont recommend it but it is doable
