IM like for suggestions on the best fitment an offsets i can get with the privat netz, Wheel Diameter and Width wise i'd like to go

rear-20x10
but im lost on the offset, an what exactly that is? the options for the privat netz offset in 20s are(front, 20,36,and 38) and for rear offset its 20,25,35,and 40.
an also i spoke with a guy bout what kind offset i'd like an he said do i want comfort of aggressive, wheres that come in????
please help, an i like the style of the privat netz. so if u have an other suggestions besides these wheels please let me know.

+20 on front and rear is your best bet out of those offsets...offset is hard to explain but ill try, its how far the "face" is from the center of the rim
here some info: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/...jsp?techid=101

Technically its how far the mounting face is from the center of the wheel. On wheels like those made by Privat, the face does not change with the offset, only the dept of the mounting surface and lug-bores do. It allows wheel companies to make a variety of offsets while saving money on wheel molds/stamps.
Offset is the distance in millimeters of the MATING face (where the wheel meets the hub) from the CENTERLINE of the Wheel "barrel" (the cylindrical part that holds the tire). Positive offset makes the wheels look deep dish like the old hot rods of the 60's and 70's. Negative offset make them look more like a front wheel drive import car, the spokes are close to the front of the barrel.
An "aggressive" look means that the wheels are very close to the fender arch.
Here is my car with an aggressive fit:

Some here have an even more aggressive fit than mine, they have to roll the fenders because the tires are too close the the fender arch and they rub. Mine are just fine like they are and I love the way it looks. Normal sedan offset is neg 40-45 so mine sit a full 15 mm further away from the mounting hubs.

This website will help you visuallize what I'm talking about:

If you want an aggressive look, you would put big wheels (19"-20" or bigger) with a low negative offset of say 15 to 20mm. You would then have to use very low profile tires with an aspect ratio of 25-35 (i.e.: 265 30 20") so they would fit under the suspension. This will give you a great look and superb handling, but tends to ride harsh as there is very little side wall flex. It will also be easier to curb rash or bend your wheels, you must drive more carefully. I have Privat "Gassen" wheels on mine they are 19" with a neg 30 offset, my tires are 245 40 19 Goodyear GT's (it gives me a compromise between harsh and handling vs soft ride and mushy handling).
Comfort wheels would be smaller 17" to 18" which would allow you to run a tire with a taller aspect ratio (aspect ratio is the ratio of the width of the tread to the height of the side wall.) which will give you a much more comfortable ride and there will be much less chance of messing up your new rims.
Most of us here prefer the aggressive look because we think the trade off in looks and handling more than makes up for the harsh ride and how careful we drive. (avoid pot holes at all costs!)

wait your kidding me, negative offsets means the farther the wheels will stick. Texasscout im pretty sure you mean postive camber cause if you were running neg 30 then your wheels would stick out so much more.
I would agree with gtrefever, most wheels for the G35 or other nissan rwd fitment cars, fall in the +10mm through +35mm range and that covers wild to mild, OEM G35 18 coupe wheels have +30mm offset on a 18x8 wheel. if you were to replace that with a different 18x8 wheel with say +15mm offset, that wheel would stick out an additional 15mm. if you had a -5mm offset, that would be an additional 35mm away from the inside of the suspension.
Cory, the offsets you chose are good offsets, remember to post pictures when all mounted and aligned!
