Tanabe DF210 springs pics

I just installed my tanabe springs with my hotchkis sway bars. The springs gave my car about a 1.5 drop, I just need a alignment now. I've only had them for one day so far no rubbing issues and the ride comfort is not that different from stock. Tell me what you guys think the first pic is a before shot.

Re: Tanabe DF210 springs pics

From the look of your front, get a 15mm wheel spacer. Looks good though!! Love the Tanabe drop, should've went with that over my B+G springs!! Nice wheels, everything looks good. Martin

Re: Tanabe DF210 springs pics

Their's pretty good reason for the springs not changing the ride quality. Like many G35 lowering springs, they use spring rates that aren't much different then stock.

Tanabe Sustec DF210 Springs G35 COUPE
Manufacturer Part #: TDF073 Drop:F/1.5" R/1.5"
Spring rates: 308/353 vs oem F-2% R+3%

Oem rates are 314/342

Re: Tanabe DF210 springs pics

I was thinking of buying the Eibach pro kit...but if thats true about the spring rates for the Tanabe DF210 then those are much better....im dropping my coupe for looks but i dont want a stiff ride...These seem to be exactly like stock. Where did you find that info Gsedan?

Re: Tanabe DF210 springs pics

Tanabe list's their spring rates right on their corp. web site as does RSR and Espelir (Japan).

Eibach prokit for G35 coupe 229/337 front 274/463 rear
(first number is the intial progressive rate, second number is the firmer final rate).

DSS,
looking good, you need to replace tires after today's run? Hopefully not. It does look good. You'll feel the difference once you get an alignment done. If you're curious I had mine done for $58 off miramar rd. I can give you the info at tomorrow's meet if you want.

G35Sedan,
I still owe you a review of my TEIN basics, had them for about a month now. I later on added the Hotchkis sways, made a big difference.
