Does +15 stick out more? Can someone explain what the offsets do to a newbie?

no prob, the smaller the number in the offset the MORE it sticks out.. the stock offsets are 30 up front and 33 in the rear. The smaller the number the more it sticks out from that original place. It all depends on how low you are. I'm 3 3/4 inches off the ground at stock sport sides with no splash guards, on the oem wheels i have 25mm spacers all around but still tucking. Another element to take into account is the width of the wheels. I see that its 9.5 and 10.5 and if i were to put those on my car i would want a 9.5 -8 and 10.5 -8.. Of course that will require a lot of camber. But from what I have seen a 9.5 with a 0 and 10.5 with a 10 or so is relatively flush. Just measure the tires until the fender and use an offset calculator or the offset little equation (i forgot how many mmm for each offset, ask shane he knows what it is).

I know it's pretty confusing but spend some time looking at websites like

http://rimtuck.com/results.php?vehic...asc%2Cyear+asc

to see a general sense of how low they are, what size, width and offset each of those G35's have.

Thanks for the help eurodre

It's still a little confusing but what would u recommend if u were dropped on 350z H tein springs? At first I was thinking about going +15 all around but those might stick out too much with only 1inch front and .75 in rear. What u think?? Or maybe do what VA 04 g35 is doing and going +20 all around as a compromise.

i believe the 350z htechs don't drop that much so.. 15 prolly will stick out too much

20 should be good

i was just suggesting smaller for the future if u get coilovers you know?

Yes. It's not bad, but a 10mm spacer all around would be good.

jlin is on s-techs i believe with t1s at +15 all around, and imo they are still too tucked, i would say if you're gonna spend the cash on new wheels +15 should be the minimum offsets you should get reguardless of drop!

+15 is what I would do. I'm not so sure what offsets are available for the T1S but I wish my current wheels were low teens (10-13mm) on my 10.5 rears and 9.5 fronts.
