Problems with 245/40/19 fronts??

Ok so basically my commute changed from 2 miles roundtrip to 50-60 miles round trip. I had Toyo T1s front and back, 245/35 and 285/35. My backs are fine, over 70% tread. My fronts were bald so I changed them. I had two sets available. Michelin Pilot Spot AS off a brand new M45 in size 245/40/19 and then a pair of Toyo T1R in 245/35/19. I tried both sets. The 245/40 is MUCH quieter and more comfortable than the 245/35. My car will see NO PERFORMANCE driving whatsoever anymore.

No issues came up when I drove each tire for the day. I took some hard offramps and braked fairly hard and I truly couldnt tell a difference. I'm ok either way right?

Thank you in advance..

Mixng tires are usually no recommended. However, if you are aware of the difference, and drive more cautiously, there shouldn't be any problem.

Furthermore, the "245/40" was more comfortable because it was a much more well-rounded tire... in terms of the balance between comfort and performance (IMO)

Besides the fact of mixing tire types, you shouldn't have any problems. I ran 245/40/19 in the fronts before, they work just fine.
